Checking and Accuracy Test

The Checking and Accuracy Test Examines how quickly and accurately the test candidate is able to check different information sets- dates, telephone numbers, credit card numbers, barcodes and reference codes. Checking and Accuracy thereby replicates activities that may be undertaken in the workplace and training environment.

This aptitude is likely to be relevant to success in the fields of administration, call centres, library referencing, stock taking, warehouses, quality control, editing, journalism and public services such as police work where good paperwork is required.

Designed to Avoid Cultural Bias

It was considered that the inclusion of names and addresses may create cultural bias, since candidates who used languages other than English as their first language would not be in such a good position to “chunk” and memorize such items in the checking tests.
